Post believes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues have the potential to impact investment returns (particularly as they relate to downside tail risk), and accordingly, a focus on ESG issues are in the long-term best interest of our clients.
Post marked its entrance into ESG as a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investing (UN PRI) under its majority parent, Principal Global Investors, in 2010. We now incorporate ESG into the day-to-day discipline of the entire team. Our proprietary approach enables our team members to combine their deep industry expertise with ESG in order to obtain the full benefit of an ESG-focused process aligned with our Responsible Investment Policy.
Post, as an organization, is also committed to integrating ESG into its operations and, to that end, has developed its own internal initiatives to reduce its climate footprint as well as to enhance its already diverse workforce. We are also committed supporters of various local non-profit organizations, including the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los Angeles chapter of Habitat for Humanity, United Way of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles chapter of the Special Olympics.
